- 1 fresh or frozen banana
- 1-2 dates, pitted
Liquids
- 1/2 cup coconut water or orange juice
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups coconut or almond milk
Nuts and Seeds
- 2 tablespoons raw walnuts or cashews, soaked overnight in water
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
Spices and Flavorings
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Blend Carrot Mixture: In a blender, combine the rough chopped carrot, turmeric, and coconut water (or orange juice). Blend until completely smooth and no carrot chunks remain, adding water if needed to thin the mixture. Pour into a tall glass.
- Prepare Second Blend: Rinse the blender out. Add the banana, pitted dates, soaked raw walnuts or cashews, hemp seeds, maca powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and coconut or almond milk. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
